Hi! My name is Dr. Dana Gardner and I am a Special Education teacher at Blakeney. This is my 27th year working with the State of Georgia! I have taught Special Education for 18 years in grades K-5, whereas 12 years were at Wheeless Road Elementary! This is my 6th year at Blakeney. I love being a BES Bruin! I am so happy to be at home!

 

I have been married for 23 wonderful years! I have 2 kids. My daughter has a BS degree from Augusta University and my son is a senior at Georgia Southern majoring in Computer Science! We also have the best dog ever, Oreo!

 

I earned my Doctoral degree in Special Education from Nova Southeastern University in 2011. I continue to LEARN and GROW each day! I teach Math and Reading utilizing lots of visuals and hands on opportunities. 

 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going to Yardsales!

 

I look forward to a GREAT 2022-2023 school year!!!
