Welcome to Blakeney Elementary, Home of the Bruins!

I am privileged and honored to serve your child as the principal of Blakeney Elementary again this year. I am thrilled to continue working in this beautiful, welcoming community, helping Burke County's children to become the best they can be.

Twenty-two years of work in education have left me with a passion for helping students succeed and, most often, excel both in school and the world beyond.

I know that every student can achieve great things--but they don't need to do it independently. By working together as a community--teachers, administration, and parents--, we can help our children grow and blossom into amazing young men and women. I look forward to working with all of you this year at Blakeney Elementary, where we are the #underconstruction!
