Welcome to Blakeney Elementary, Burke County Students and Parents! My name is Benjamin W. Dorsett, Jr. I am a 3^rd grade para-educator at Blakeney Elementary. This is my 17th year employed as a para-educator with the Burke County School District, whereas 1 of my years was with Communities in School of Burke County, 7 years at Blakeney Elementary, and 9 years at the Burke County Life Center. And I’m EXCITED to be starting my 3rd year back at Blakeney Elementary School “Home of the Bruins”. I will be assisting Mrs. Teresa Bowers and Mr. Andre` Vincent in our daily rotation throughout their various classrooms.

Again, our ultimate goal is to assure all students in the Burke County School District are successfully equipped (prepared) for their future endeavors. Looking forward to an interesting and innovated school year!
