Meet Your Teacher

My name is Mrs. Etrenda Wright and I will be your child’s 4th grade math teacher. I am married and have twin college students.  In addition, I am originally from Burke County and have been teaching for the past 5 years. I have two degrees, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a Master’s in Elementary Education. I am so excited to spend the school year with your child and look forward to watching them grow. 

Together we can make a difference. I feel as though open lines of communication between parents, students, and teachers are the key to promoting an educational climate that is conducive to learning.  You can help by sending your baby well rested and with a hug and kiss fresh on their mind. This sets the stage for a lovely day. In addition, please know your child will have homework daily. I ask that you make sure it is completed.  We will work hard to meet all academic goals. It is my plan along with your help to have a smooth and tangible learning experience with your child. 

This year your student will be taking ELA and Social Studies from Mrs. I. Smith along with Math and Science from me.
