This week student's you will continue to learn about how time is used every day. We will review schedules that were created on last week's assignment. This will help you with measuring time to determine how long an activity lasts. You will discuss new math vocabulary and strategies of how using the hour hand, minute hand, and number line, to read time for this lesson.

This week F2F students' will briefly review the part 2 fractions lesson and begin learning about telling time. You will also be introduced to some new vocabulary words: analog, digital, minute hand, and hour hand.

Fractions are numbers that describe or name the equal parts of a whole. You will learn 3 new math terms this week: fractions, denominator and numerator. The denominator is the bottom number that tells how many equal parts are in a whole. The numerator is the top number that tells how many parts you have.
