Mrs. Jessica Horne

My name is Jessica Horne, and I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade English Language Arts at Blakeney Elementary School. As a proud graduate of the Burke County School System, it brings me great joy to give back to the community that helped shape me. I hold a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Specialist in Education, all from Augusta University. In addition, I have earned endorsements in Gifted Education, Teacher Support and Coaching, and a certification in Educational Leadership. Lifelong learning is one of my passions, and I strive to instill that same love of learning in my students. I firmly believe that students thrive when they are supported both at school and at home.
