Hello! My name is Dotti Blackburn. I am very excited to be teaching reading/ELA this year and I am looking forward to meeting and getting you know you this year!  I grew up in Aston, PA. and I discovered my passion for teaching when I was young.  My dad was a teacher and I got to see what a difference a good teacher could make. I attended Penn State University for three years and then moved south and attended Armstrong Atlantic State College where I graduated with a bachelors in Early Childhood Education.  Over time, I have found that I learn the most from getting to know my students! I love the excitement I see in them as they learn and understand new things!  I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
