Hello; I'm Mrs. Alicia "Regina" Golphin, and I teach 5th Grade Science & Social Studies. I enjoy providing fun, engaging, memorable and relevant learning experiences for my students.
I began my career in the Burke County School System 26 years ago! I am a graduate of Augusta State University where I majored in Early Childhood Education, and from Walden University where I received my Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment. Additionally, I am proud to say that I'm a member of the FIRST graduating class of Burke County Comprehensive High School! Having a teaching career within the same school system from which I received my K - 12 education is truly a BLESSING!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling (especially to the beach), and BAKING.
I'm looking forward to a very special school term!
