Welcome to Blakeney Elementary!

My name is Ashanti Givens-Cannon, and I am honored to serve as the Lead Special Education Teacher here at Blakeney Elementary School. With 16 years of dedicated service in education, I am passionate about supporting our students' diverse learning needs.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Augusta State University in 2009, followed by a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2018. Currently, I teach Reading, Language Arts, and Math for 3rd-5th  grades.
